Replaced engine batteries now "Security Light is on"
A good friend of mine has a 2002 C3500 6.6L. He changed the engine batteries and now the security light on the dash stays on. Everything works fine. The light just stays on. Any suggestions. I've done some searching on here about this problem and really haven't found the solution. I've also checked on alldata.com.
I did see mention of a scanner. Is it a OBD2 scanner? If I need a scanner I have a Genesis OBD2 scanner at work. It seems like it would be as easy as a simple reset. Thanks for any input.

Re: Replaced engine batteries now "Security Light is on"
I'm thinking there is a reset procedure, but I can't remember what it is. It was something like turn the key on (but don't start) for 10 mins then off for 10 mins, but I don't remember if it applies to this truck.
