krazy_texan is finally back

Ok so how bout a little update to all you guys on here as i have not been around for a really long time. Well after moving up to Iowa and away from my beloved Texas I have been a busy busy boy. After living here for 2 years i seperated with my sons mother and now i have been on my own away from home for 1 year now. I have custody of my son and started going back to school and am finally going to bring my old GMC to Iowa after many failed attempts. But being where i live I have one neighbor that has a restored 70 longbox and there is another guy down the street that has a 68 50th anniv 3/4 4x4 and behind me there is a first gen blazer and it is killing me seeing all these trucks on a daily basis i have to get my truck up here. So when i go for the holidays next week i am bringing back just the engine cause i cant tow the whole truck with my s10. Then in March on my school break I am flying down and me and my brother are going to tow back the rest of the truck. I already have the plane ticket and I cant wait. Finally my baby is going to come home to daddy.

Well welcome back. Too bad you didn't touch base a little sooner. We had a little get together at DieselWrenchers place in Mitchellville a while back. If you need any parts when you get your truck back to Iowa call Arts Classic Truck Parts in Indianola, IA. Nice guy and you can drive down and pick them up. Here is one of his ads on craigslist.
