New Toy

Yes I still have my 1968 short bed fleet, 1968 & 1969 Camaros. But, there is always room for one of these....

Shovelhead, eh?

So, whatcha gonna do with it? The yellow paint, with mis-matched tires makes you want to go with whitewalls, and dress it up. Then, blackwalls and dressed would look good, too. Decisions, decisions, decisions.....

Yes, it's a 1976 FLH Shovel. I'm gonna repaint the tank solid yellow. Get another white wall for the front. Maybe some forward controls..... Hmmmmmm.... We'll see.

Too bad it's a trouble prone, oil leak prone shovelhead.

Sweet bike, looks like it could use a trip up to Prescott. A lot of nice ones come through here for the ride, and whisky row, if you ever do let me know.

What troubles are you talking about ZOOMY?The only oil leak I have is from the chain oiler.Put it together right and maintain it and you will have no leak.I have a 77FLH I bought in 82.as a graduation present to myself. Also have a 63FL and 38ULH.Yellow is cool,if mine I would go with blackwalls. With the chain drive it's easier to clean.

My uncle had an old sportster and a full dressor. OLD. I was too young to be interested in them. And since then I haven't seen him in about 6 yrs. But I remember he used to take his sporty down to the basement and rebuild it every winter, some times it'd get new paint, other times new tires, some times just disassembled and reassembled, it was too cool. Good luck with the old bike.

I get as many miles on my shovel, between rebuilds, as most get on their evos.I have owned the 77 since 1982.It has 196000 on it now.By summer it will be over 200000.
