2010 gmc!
Hey yall, just thought i would share a couple pics of my new truck, Im pickin it up in the morning after the detail shop is done with it.
Specs- 5.3, 6 speed, z71, remote start, 11 cupholders, 3.08 gears, and some other cool stuff! It has 280 miles on it, and runs so great. I love it already. My plans are getting the windows tinted and a spray in bedliner, maybe a sub, maybe an exhaust. but definetely tint first thing. Thanks for looking!

Re: 2010 gmc!
Looks awesome! Congrats on 11 cup holders, what is that, 2 drinks per rider? . I definetly vote on the bedliner if you intend to use the bed, it keeps it from looking raped.

Re: 2010 gmc!
thanks man, yeah i dont really know whats up with the 11 cupholders, put im not complaining! lol i love how much room this thing has, and the power of a 5.3 and 6 speed, its amazing. Im shopping around for a spray in liner and a nice toolbox to go below the rails, any ideas? the one out of my 2000 chevy SWB wont fit.

Re: 2010 gmc!
After the stock tires wear out i plan on black 18s, all terrains, and a leveling kit. but ill probably leave it stock for awhile for the sake of gas mileage, i need every MPG i can get lol.

Re: 2010 gmc!
a leveling kit wont hurt the mpg and you will use strut spacers only the 3/4 and 1 tons still have torsion keys.

Re: 2010 gmc!
yep i know, no more free lift from crankin the torsion bars like on my 2000 chevy, owell. Ill do the lift and tires all at once. a while from now. honestly i love the way this truck is now, its nice having something so nice and clean and unmolested. This is the first new vehicle ive owned, and I plan on keeping it forever. I mean, why not? Its paid off! I put about 300 miles on it over the past few days, and I completely love the ride and drive. Im getting tinted windows with a brow hopefully tomorow, along with a spray in liner. what should i do about a toolbox? I want one that fits below the rails, but its kinda hard to find one that fits since this truck has the even shorter shortbed on it. thanks.

Re: 2010 gmc!
well the fronts are right at the legal limit, 30% VLT, mine are about 31%, the rears dont matter, besides, i mostly run down country roads, most of which ive never seen a single cop on, and the cops I do see are much more worried about their donuts to even notice my tint. lol

Re: 2010 gmc!
GM has a cargo system that consists of tie down rails that attach in the oval holes in the bed, and htere is a toolbox kit that attaches to the rails. Pretty sure it is a larger box, and two smaller ones. They all fit below the bed rail.

Re: 2010 gmc!
well, what a great new years eve I had... A deer jumped right into the passenger side door of my new GMC, dented it in at the bottom and put a crease in it right over the trim! and then me and my girlfriend were forced to break up (both unwillingly, long story)... Gonna be another loooong winter.. ugh

Re: 2010 gmc!
keep your head up man. a gauranteed way to hit deer is to put a fedex sticker on the front of your truck. seriously though, when you see deer hit your horn. it seems to startle them back to where they came from.
