Engine ID help
Hi all new to your board but not new to the trucks or rebuilding. I completely restored and upgraded my grandfathers C10 (18 years ago) but had to leave it in Europe untimely. Any way, My daughter just bought a 67 C20, fairly good shape – the PO “Claims” the motor is a 350 unfortunately I can not confirm this and all the sites I have checked I cant find the data I need to confirm the engine. The books all say OEM is either a 283 or 327 for that year. Engine ID# 16D_495065.
I look forward to chatting and learning from all of you. Mortman |
