Spindle Questions

i know that lift spindles are not being made anymore but i was wondering if you could use say a 3 inch lowering spindle and flip it over and use it on the other side? is this even possible?

just wondering since im looking for about a 6 inch lift with just suspension modifications and then add on a 3 inch body lift for 9 inches total for that prerunner look

please don't mention anything about 4wd or why lift a 2wd in here.

i have my reasons

Re: Spindle Questions

maybe ask in the Suspension section of the forum. Maybe give a little more info on truck, year, model, tires, etc. May result in a better answer.

Re: Spindle Questions

Won't work. The ball joint holes are much different between upper and lower ball joints. When you flipped it over, you'd have no way of inserting the lower balljoints through the spindle holes and the upper ball joints would fit too loosely in the holes.

Re: Spindle Questions

alright thank your for clearing that up, after some more research ive found someone who did the 88+ spindle swap and they make a 4 inch sp[indle lift for those trucks so that plus a 3 inch spring and a 3 inch body would yeild 10 inches of lift, something i can live with
