Re: Special care for thoose black matte finish wheels..need opinions
We just purchased a nearly new set of BOSS 338s for the son's 86 truck. They are made with a grey matte finish on the spokes, that appears to be a powder coat, so if we do anything to them, it will be hard to get the pores clean. Before I mount them, I plan on trying a sealer from the wax company that I use to see if it will be easy to wipe it off after application. With the wheels shown above, I would look at a small spot and apply a metal sealer to see if it would work, but only a small spot to see if it would not be impossible to wipe it off after application.

Side note... Frank, your son's truck looks good with the new wheels. Make sure he brings it to KC this year.

The way it's going, we will have to rob a bank to get there.

I think that I would get lost in the big city. Once you turn right onto the main drag, from the back highway, the maze of houses and street lights will befuddle me.

Frank, you don't have to tell me that. I grew up here and still can't navigate the city with all the stoplights. LOL
