Doors
Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a difference in doors for 73-87 trucks. I see that tjey are usually sold for 73-79 and 80-87. I have a 76 and I found some doors advertised as the 80-87 doors...just wondered if they would fit or not. Thanks.

I think they will (not 100%). I think the only difference in the 73-87 doors is the trim.
Good luck!

73-76 are unique from the rest, 77-80 are the same, and i believe 81+ are the same. The main diff between the 77-80 & 81+ are the door panels. The 73-76 are COMPLETELY different, the DP are diff, and they will not accept factory PW setups. All doors from 73-87, 88-91 burbs/blazers will physically fit any truck of these years...it is just the rest of the door (accessories) that are different.

73-76 doors are completely different than 77-91 doors.
If you have the guts out of any, they will interchange, BUT, the door panels won't. And if you try and used 73-76 guts and 77-91 panels with (manual as pwr started in 77) the window crank stall will be too short. If you try 77-91 guts in a 73-76 door (manual only as 73-76 doors WON'T accept power) the stalk will be too long 73-76 door http://www.captkaoscustoms.com/images/73-76door.jpg 77-91 door http://www.captkaoscustoms.com/images/77-91door.jpg If the doors advertised are complete (glass, door panels latch lock etc) the will bolt to you truck with no problem. If they aren't complete and you expect to put your stuff inside them and use them, you will be disappointed. If that is the case, you need a 73-76 shell.
