Help identifying frame bracket
Can anyone identify the brackets below? They are located on the top of the frame on the driver's side, just ahead of the cab in the engine bay. The first picture is a 67 frame and the second one is a 71. I assume that they are used with the engine limiting straps, but wanted to make sure before I cut them off... Thanks in advance!

Randy is correct. If you are ever going to install a manual transmission in either one of them you will need the bracket, unless you go to a hydraulic clutch. LockDoc
