amp wire guage
What guage wire do i need running from the battery to the amp? And from the amp to the subwoofer, and the remote wire?

Depends on the amp, can you be more specific?
(note: the remote wire can be small, the other two are much more important)

the amp is a 600 watt sony xplod and the subwoofer is a alpine 12 in

4-AWG for power and ground. with a 60 amp fuse mounted as close to the battery as possible!
speaker wire... I would run 12 gauge again the remote isnt crucial... it is a very small signal...
