1967 Rear Axle (3.73) and Trailing Arms

I have a rear axle and trailing arms from a 2WD 1967 short bed. It has an open carrier with 3.73 gears with 6 lug axles. The trailing arms will need to be cleaned up, but do not appear to be rusted through anywhere. $150 and this will need to be picked up locally in Youngsville, NC

Per board rules, please reply to this thread if you would like to purchase these items.

I believe I read 3/4 of an inch each side for a total of 1.5" shorter

Re: 1967 Rear Axle (3.73) and Trailing Arms

We can take some measurements for you this weekend. Just let us know where to measure to and from on the axle so we are comparing apples to apples.

Re: 1967 Rear Axle (3.73) and Trailing Arms

Geoff and I measured the rear axle today. As you can see below, it is around 55 1/4". We also measured the axle in my truck, which is from a 71 and it is 57" wide at the same point.

If you are still interested in the axles, let's talk and see if we can work something out.
