Re: What to do for radio..
There are several parts distributors that carry them, they fit the original dash and have aux ins for ipods, and a cd changer that goes with it at extra cost. LMC truck, brothers, and classic parts depot to name a few. But I'm sure there would be several others as well.

Re: What to do for radio..
I'm going to put an amp under the dash and wire it for iPod with a radio delete plate for a clean look

Re: What to do for radio..
I am going to do this also. putting a hidden under dash amp and ipod in the ashtray but i am keeping the stock am radio (non working) in place for that "old school" look. I replaced my dash front because the original was hacked bad. the replacement dash also has holes for a/c vents. the a/c ball housings will be where the 3 inch speakers will go. should have it done in a*few weeks. I'll post pics

Re: What to do for radio..
I have installed two of the retro sound units. One in a Blazer, and the other in a 60 Corvette. Both owners are IPOD guys and love them. No cutting, easy install, ability to add an amp. Looks right in the dash!

Re: What to do for radio..
I've got a retrosound unit in my 72 blazer. I like it. It looks good in the dash, the newer model sounds pretty good, they come with a warranty, and they have very good customer service. I don't have an I-pod, but I use a flash drive to hold my music. The new model even lets you use an SD card. Whatever that is. (j/k)
