what's the cheapest way to bag my truck??

I was planning on doing a 4/6 static drop on my 67 c10, but I'm now considering bagging it instead. I'm looking at just adding bags where my coils are now. I'm wanting to go the cheapest way I can, but I want it to be Safe. I'm pretty good at metal fab work, so that not s problem, but I'm not sure if I should build my plates or buy them. I already have a tank, but what else will I need and where is the cheapest place to buy it. I'm not wanting to lay frame, Just give it a nice slammed look with adjustability. Thanks

I would start by reevaluating your objective. Since you did mention that you want to do it safely, thats a good start. Your post might be better served if you asked "Whats the "best" way to bag my truck on a small budget". You can get lots of answers here on how to do it cheaply, but that doesn't mean its the best for your needs.

First thing to do is become familiar with the workings of an air suspension. The diagrams posted below are compliments of Suicidedoors http://www.***************** and a good point of reference.

From there I would read the TONS of information posted here in this forum, and determine how much your budget allows for. You can start by adding bags front and rear with Schrader valves. I would add a compressor to the most low budget system, so you have a portable air source. From there you can build what you need as time and money permits.

My personal preference is save money until I can afford to do it right. A well engineered air suspension can give you years of trouble free service. Anything less, not so much.

I'm running the paddle valves, and they work great. I made a mainfold fed by a 1/2 line. That breaks down to the 2 double 1/4" lines feeding the valves.
