Unhappy Add me to the long list............

of people having a brain fart moment. I decided to work on my choke cable today since it was so pretty out side. Because of too many bends in the way i routed te cable it was really hard to move so i had planned on rerouting it. After dicnnecting it from the carb i got back into the cab and started pulling it back threw the fire wall. all the sudden smoke came out from under the dash, thinking i might have grounded out the cabe on a wire or plug my reaction was to crab andpull the cableout from under the dash unknown to me thechoke cable had came in contact with the power distrbution block on the fire wall. i guess since the cable outer cover isnt nothing but tightly wraped wire it turned into a heating coil. so needless to say my right hand has second degree burns with the pattern of choke cable in 4 places. Damn its hard to type with one hand. lesson for the day no matter what your doing disconnect your battery.

It's always funny until someone gets hurt, then it's hilarious

Dang Cole, I feel it all the way down here.

Don't feel too bad though. The burn hurts I know, but it don't hurt to admit your brain locks up. I've had to do it a bunch of times.

Some of the stupid stuff I've done, you folks wouldn't believe if I told you.

I hope your hand gets better. I had my arm burnt one time picking up a hot lawnmower over a fence and also been burnt when old blazer caught fire. I've been on that list way too many times.

ohh sh*t its robocop hahhaha
Better watch what you say about that lwnmower now Brandon, robocop is here

I wish I had some picture of some stuff I did. When I was about 3 years old I pulled the pot off the counter and gave myself 3 degree burns from the waist up. Thanks to doctors and multiple skin graphs you cant even tell, except sometimes when its real hot outside I get white spots on my skin, the doctors said Id get them and they were right, but I didnt get them until my late teens. I also almost cut the tip of my pinky finger off moving some steel parts. I tripped and the steel I was carring crushed my little finger. It was big time nasty. I had to get 13 stitches on the tip of my pinky finger. It looked like my finger was cut off, I almost passed out a few times before the doctor finally gave me some shots. It was a hot day and I was bleeding alot. I had so much blood on my shirt and finger they though I cut half my finger off. My pinky finger is now a little bigger (thicker) and the feeling isnt right, but its there and it works!

The gate was locked on the other side of the house and didn't have a key. The shed was on the other side of the fence so I lifted the mower up about halfway over I smelt something burning looked down and my arm was burning on the muffler and thought to myself damn that's not good. Then finished lifting the mower over the fence and then ripping my arm and skin off the muffler. Then the pain hit. It was like a Tom and Jerry cartoon where Tom's tail is on fire and he smells it but doesn't realize it's him by then he's all burnt up.
