I have a 66 c 10, for years it has made a thud noise from the rear end when I go up a hill that has a curve. It has been doing this for years as this is on my way home. On flat turns the rear end does not make any sound and I corner with no problem. Any ideas for cause and a fix?

Really not sure but had a Ford PU that did that when I would turn and accelerate. Turned out to be a posi rear end. I put in the posi additive and the thud went away.
