can some one with a short fleet bed measure the space that is under the bed and behind the rear wheels, btween the bed and frame, (possibly going to mount an airtank there)Thnaks

Hey, I can measure that for you tonight (if I remember). I'm planning on mounting my air tanks under the bed also. I'll have to come by your place in the truck one of these days and meet you (or vise versa).

Well, after looking at my bed, there really isn't a whole lot of room under there. Behind the wheel, you have about a 12"x10"x18" space. The 18" is between the frame and the outer bed side. The 10" is the depth from the bottom of the bed floor to the bottom of the outer bed side. The 12" is the distance between the two rear bed cross supports. In front of the wheel, the dimensions are about 20"x10"x18". So you could fit some smaller tanks in those spaces. My 3-gallon tanks are about 24"x7" (the 24" includes about 2" on each end for inlet and outlet fittings. I'd like to relocate mine to under the bed, so I may end up buying some smaller tanks. Don't think I could fit mine underneath without them being visible (from the wheel well). Oh, those dimensions aren't exact of course, but gives you an idea. In between my frame rails is pretty filled up with exhaust and a fuel cell, so no room there!
