Re: 71 K5 larger fuel tank?
I put an aftermarket tank in my 72. It is a 37 gal tank. It is big and hangs low but I have a 3" body lift so I was able to modify the mount tabs and lift the tank 2" or more. Then I built a HD skid plate for it.
Some have swapped in the 31 gal GM tank but I don't know anything about that one... Here is my tank...man the price has gone up..I think I paid $385 back in..hmm..2002 I think http://www.nwmp.com/ Make: Chevrolet and GMC Model: Blazer - Jimmy1969-1972 Part Number: CBR-1 Type: Replacement Size: (Gallons) 37 Price: $565.00 INCLUDES: Sending Unit-Mounting Hardware Kit.
