Post Pics of Trans Cooler Mounting
I plan on installing a new BeCool Rad soon and my old trans cooler is held to the rad with those fancy ties that go thru the core. I would like to see some ideas on how to mount a nice trans cooler to the rad support or even other ideas, thanks

Re: Post Pics of Trans Cooler Mounting
Made some aluminum brackets that mount to the core support and the cooler painted black. In the pic it.s the two black brackets on the sides of the hood release and the B@M cooler I used. The cooler had holes for very easy mounting.

Re: Post Pics of Trans Cooler Mounting
This is the cooler for the 4L80E on my Suburban:
The one on the left is the tranny cooler. I wanted to secure it solidly, because it's a big sucker. It is mounted directly to the grille support / hood release on the right hand side, and on the left it is mounted to a bracket I made from their supplied angle steel in the kit. That bracket is bolted right to the core support through factory holes. The only ones I had to drill were the two small ones though the grille support brace.

Re: Post Pics of Trans Cooler Mounting
It is solid and there is zero movement on it. My motor has a big cam so the truck moves alot while at idle and it has been there for two years and zero issues..

Re: Post Pics of Trans Cooler Mounting
If you are still in the build stage i welded in 2 flat bars vertically then bolted the cooler to them.
I really like the finned frame mounted coolers.
