Here are some pictures of the new engine I bought for my 71. It was just delivered today.

Looks awesome. I love the serpentine conversions in older cars also.

I have been thinking 383. Good choice.

Ray, that really looks nice, especially that serpentine system ... kinda makes me wish I had ponied up the bucks for it. Smeding makes a nice looking motor. And your manifold is an Edelbrock? Mine is World Products. I'll be glad to hear how you like it when it is up and running.
