'81-87 Front clip on a '79

Is is possible to put a newer 80's style front clip on a 79?

Any help would be great.

Theres alot more to it.
You Got to cut the front frame horns to fit the front bumper on the 81 n up nose.You got to cut holes in the cowl for the hood hinges, you also got to like the other person said change the wiper arms to the longer ones.You also got to put holes in the cowl under the windshield for the coul panel to fit in and seat into place.And also there are 2 small indentations need to be made for the windshield wiper squirters to sit as well..

It's not just the wiper arms it's the posts that the wipers attacj to, the older trucks are shorter then the 81-87's. So you need the whole front clip, and cowl panel outer metal and inner, hood hinges and the ones that mount to the fenders and have spring on them, Also if you don't have inside hood release you need that, headlight plugins and such may be different, depends on what headlight setup it has dual or single. The bumper and brackets as they said, inner fenders, etc.
