what is my axle width

so i know there is a difference i have a 69 12 bolt factory six lug. just need to know how wide it is compared to 71/72 rearends as well as front track width

I believe the 67-early 69 axles are 1.5" shorter (0.75" each axle) than the late 69-72 axles.....we just measured the rearend we have out of a 67 frame and it was right at 55.5" then we measured a 71 rearend and it was 57" (both were measured backing plate to backing plate)....see this thread...http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=438017
