Lokar Performance Products

I have a question that I am hoping someone on this board can help me with. We are in the process of building direct bolt in throttle pedal assemblies and clutch, brake and dimmer pedal pads for 1967-1970 & 1971-1972 Chevrolet /GMC trucks. I need to know what was located in the holes in the firewall above the throttle pedal in the 1967-1970 and then in the 1971-1972 trucks. Thank you .If anyone can help with this I can be reached at.
Lokar Performance Products (877)469-7440.

Re: Lokar Performance Products

That covers the 71-72 Thank you. The 67-70 is the one that I am working on now. I will put it on hold untill I can confirm the two holes on that firewall.
Thank you gcburdic !!!!

Re: Lokar Performance Products

John,

Take a look at one of my firwall pics....looks like those holes are the same....I actually plugged 2 of them with grommets becasue I didn't use them....there are 3 holes like the 71-72...and originally uses were the same....maybe this helps???...need a tester truck for your new design???

Check this thread out too....http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...282110....lots of underhood shots....last page there's a couple real nice views, but again...I think they were used the same for all years....(of course I'll asterick this with, I'm still learning and expect a more knowledgable source to correct me where I'm wrong)

Re: Lokar Performance Products

Hotrodimpy... I have a '67 Chevy c/10 with '78 Chevy 350 motor (small block), I was wondering what would be the correct part # for a engine dipstick/tube and does Lokar offer any deals? LMK...because OEM parts are almost the same as your product.

Re: Lokar Performance Products

Lokar's engine dipstick for that applacation is part # ED-5002 fits 1979 and earlier. This would be with the dipstick on the driver side of the engine. The locking engine dipstick for that applacation in the bright finish part # 1220014. Lokar only sells at retail. You can contact us for dealer in your area toll free 877-469-7440 Tech or the front desk can help you.
Thank you John Impy

Re: Lokar Performance Products

FYI. Lokar's new Throttle Pedal assembly for the 67-70 and the 71-72 C-10 trucks are just about finished. We have just completed the Automatic Brake Pedal Pad. The Clutch Pedal Pad and the E-Brake Pedal Pad. They are part of our Curved Pedal Pad line. Also we have made an extended Automatic Brake Pedal Pad that is 1 3/4" longer to the left.
Any questions please contact our Tech Department Toll Free 877-469-7440
