Inline 6 cyl. w/250+TH350 Kickdown?
I have a 1979 C10 250 4.1 with a Rochester 1BBL that was origionally a 3 on the tree manual. Now, I mated it with an early 80's TH350 and the truck runs and drives fine but I cannot figure out how to hook up any kind of kickdown cable to the carb. I am totally stumped. PLEASE help. Is there a special bracket or special cable? Thanks to all in advance.

Go to a junk yard and find a truck with the inline and automatic. That's what I did with a 700r4.

Thanks for the info... and I was contemplating heading out to a few local salvage yards. Did you basically have to find a carburetor with a bracket or provisions to attach the kickdown?

Yes. If you find a truck with an inline and auto, most likely it'll have the brackets and linkage. I just took everything off, brackets, linkage, and the throttle cable. You never know what you need.
