unless aomeone can tell me the size i can try to match one at the dealer..

Re: 73 brake banjo bolt

The early calipers (73-78?) are 7/16"-20.

The later calipers (79-87) are metric 10mm.

Don't forget the crush washers.
2 per hose.

Re: 73 brake banjo bolt

Most auto parts stores should have them in the generic brake part area, for some reason when you punch in your make to their computers it dosent come up.

Not sure if this is the exact one but

Re: 73 brake banjo bolt

Autozone sells them, have them pull a caliper off the shelf to check the size while your there. They are not listed in the computer though. The keep them in the back.

With all this running around,... does this make a "kit" disc brake conversion look a little better?
When we did 72BlckButy's disc brake conversion,... I think everything came in those boxes from ECE.

Re: 73 brake banjo bolt

^^^ lol. i give myself room for error since this is my first build ever. but that sure sounds like a good plan on the next build. this is what happens when your eager to work on your truck with no money lol. so you buy one little part at a time until it comes together.

and i called the dealer on the bolt, they said they didnt have em (remember, they told me they do have them but need the size...yesterday). so i went back to o reilly and checked with the correct size from lolife99, took them home and tried it out. BINGO!

so i dont know what the hell the parts guy was screwing the bolt into, but it worked on my calipers...
