Rear end location
I have a bare 1952 short box frame with no springs or axles on it. I am wondering if anybody can give me a measurement from the back of the frame (top or side) to where the center of the rear axle should be. I am not using the the stock rear end either, I am using a S-10 rear end. Any help would be great!

Re: Rear end location
Good call. the factory spec is 36.688 from the rear tip of the frame rail. They usually look like the rear is too far forward. When we build custom chassis for 47-54's, we set them at 36" and they look perfect.
