Inner fender question

I have a 78 GMC that has a rusty drivers side front inner fender that needs replaced. My question is can I use 84 inner fenders with my 78 sheet metal? I have easy access to those.

Re: Inner fender question

they were different... I dont know if they will bolt up or not but they are shaped different.. You can get decent ones aftermarket from our site vendors and I have a set that i painted with rustoleum metallic black paint then clear coated them several times prior to install and they look real nice

I didn't know they were shaped differently, I can get the later set for free so you can't beat that but if they don't bolt up then it doesn't matter.

Re: Inner fender question

Get the free ones, and sell them. Use that money to buy what you need.
