Help Clueless on Backspacing
I have a bone stock 1972 LWB 1/2 ton 402BB GMC rear leaf spring. It currently has 5 on 5 15" wheels, but I covet some torq thrust 17".(unless someone has a better suggestion.)
Can someone who knows what they are talking about explain this to me? I have seen charts and it is like chineese to me....backspacing, centerline, offset......I don't know. I've been a Jeep guy a long time and only dealt in wheel size and tire size, never backspacing. HELP! Thanks in advance. |
