Removing front cross member on my 64 GMC

I have recently purchased a Porter Built front drop member and need to remove the stock front cross member on my 1964 GMC 1/2 ton. I am sure there is a thread somewhere about removing the stock one but I am having some trouble finding it. Do not know if it can come off as a single unit with everything attached or if it has to be dis-mantled. 4 bolts, 8 bolts or 50 bolts.
If someone can steer me in the right direction it would be appreciated.
Thanks

We pulled mine as one piece. Just disconnected the steering, unbolted the crossmember and wheeled it out of there. There are some pics in my build thread if your interested.

Leave the center link in, otherwise it's a little trickier to move. But I pulled the crossmember out of the donor in about an hour by myself. So it can't be all that hard.

Yeah, sorry. I meant just disconnect it from the steering box.
