rear brake hardware

Where is the best place to get rear brake drum hardware? I have shoes, spring kit, wheel cylinders but want some of the other parts and Rock Auto doesn't show the rest of the parts.
I mainly need the spreader bars and springs right under the wheel cylinder.

Re: rear brake hardware

11" drums you can get those parts at NAPA.
12" drums you are gonna have to scrounge.

Mine are 12", and I had to scrounge for 12" specific parts. Took me for ever!

If they are 12", let me know.

Re: rear brake hardware

I bought a set of 11" spreader bars and springs from "Orange County Car and Truck Shop", so I know that they have all that stuff.

But, really you should be able to find it in the "Help" section of any good parts store.

NAPA was able to order for me all the springs and such.

Re: rear brake hardware

The rear hardware kit doesn't include the Strut bar end springs but Napa has them seperate. You just need to know it's called a strut bar spring.
