I`m coming back

May be coming back to the square side soon. I sold my 84 stepside a couple years ago and wished I kept it. since I need a truck again I started looking and found a clean 83 scotsdale short fleet. It`s very clean inside and out with a 305/700R4, A/C that works, cruise and dual tanks. Pretty basic other than that but thats all I need. I forgot how close I was to the steering wheel on those old trucks though, lol. I`m going back tonight to test drive it and if it checks out I`ll probably buy it. I`ll post some pics up if I do.

Re: I`m coming back

Well I bought it. It`s pretty clean. Mileage says 76k and might be original considering how clean it is. So far everything seems to work except the dome light which hopefully is just a bulb. The first thing I did when I got inside what check all the a/c levers and they are all smooth and work correctly. I paid $2200 for it and i think I got a good deal. I`ll try to get some pics up this weekend.

Re: I`m coming back

For 2200,- I can't even buy a rusted, inoperable hulk around here....

Let alone a running nice truck!!!

Thanks guys. The plans are pretty much just make it my daily driver for now. I`m planning on chaning the wheels and lowering it a bit, maybe replace the base model floor mat with a actual carpet, tilt column and thinking about a later model seat,88-90+, and just drivng it. I would`nt mind swapping in a 5.3/4L60E down the road but no money for than now.
