Tool & Stowage Box Door?

Is there anywhere to get a replacement tool & stowage box door for a '72 long bed fleetside? Mine is completely rusted out, but the rest of the bed is in great shape. Can't find any place online??? Thanks.

Good luck. There aren't many good ones out there, and they aren't cheap when they do come up for sale. Try watching the parts board.

Re: Tool & Stowage Box Door?

How rusted out is yours? From what I have seen they typically rust in the bottom. This section can be replaced by sheet metal. Of course if you can find and afford one is much better shape then all the better.

Re: Tool & Stowage Box Door?

The box itself is not that bad. It is the access door to the compartment that is unrepairable.

Re: Tool & Stowage Box Door?

Somewhere in all these forums (can't find it yet) someone posted a bunch of desert salvage yards. Someone commented they even saw tool box door on a truck bed. I'll keep lookin'.....
