Complete 68 swb less motor transmission worth?

I have an opportunity to get a 68 SWB all new interior, wiring, bushings,etc..complete frame off non a/c cab. Truck is complete with all new parts and fresh paint. All I would have to do is install my big block crate motor and transmission. What do you guys think is a fair price this thing is spotless!

Yea it's all legit but he is not wanting to budge a little...not sure if I'm gonna do it.

I would make a big deal out of the no AC cab ( yea I know you can get aftermarket AC) then offer him like $4K. see what he says, what is he asking for it? after he says no, leave your name and number, tell him to call you when he gets another offer.

No I made the effort and climbed all over it and the bed was off. I feel it would need to be re-shot at a later date and he is want 8k for it. I was trying to get him down to atleast 6K. I think at this point I'm gonna walk...

Yea he was in the middle of putting the front together and I made him an offer. Told him I didn't want his motor and tranny. So he says if I don't buy it he will put it back together and leave the set up as is and sell it for 12K. Think I'm gonna tell him I will pass...
