Re: CL airbag suspension Whats it worth?
I would probably stay away unless you know the person that is selling it. Electrical components like the comp or valves can be fried very easily if installed wrong. Also bags could be shot as well. And you would never know untill you got them on your vehicle.
Just be carful. If you can get it for a good price, then maybe go for it. |

Re: CL airbag suspension Whats it worth?
I got a setup kinda like that off ebay when I did my '69. Everything was new, he just never got the rest to put it together. The tank, bags and valves might be worth a look. Lowball him and see?

Re: CL airbag suspension Whats it worth?
what would it be worth even as a lowball? I dont want the compressor or switches either. just enough to set up the rear of my 65 and run the lines to where I can fill them or deflate them easily.

Re: CL airbag suspension Whats it worth?
Offer him $150, you should be able to sell the compressor, valves, and switches for about that and you have the bags for free.

Used compressors, valves, & bags are hit or miss. I guess if the price is soooo cheap that you get everything for the price of 1 bag, or 1 tank, it might be worth the gamble. That being said, you mention the desire to just install rear bags w/schraders into your truck. Why not just buy what you need new? 2x bags, 2x bag fittings, 2x schraders, & enough DOT airline to route to a convenient fill location.
