Question Bad Ground?

I just bought a 88' GMC 1500 and the instrument panel has the LCD or segmented style gauges.

The only gauges that work are the speedometer and the oil pressure. The water, gas, and volt meters don't show any movement or segments. I also noticed that my cruise control doesn't work as well as my blowers for the air conditioner/heater.

My question is, do I have a bad ground going to my dash that would cause all these malfunctions?
