DECAL - Main Aux Fuel Tank

Does anyone reproduce the "Main Aux Fuel Tank" sticker that is located above the left A/C outlet ? It came from the factory on trucks with Auxiliary fuel tanks. I've seen some pictures of what looked like new ones that were put on restored dashes.

Re: DECAL - Main Aux Fuel Tank

No one makes them and I have thought about having some made. I have one I peeled from the '72 Longhorn cab I am using on my '67 project. I think it's salvageable enough to reproduce.

Re: DECAL - Main Aux Fuel Tank

My brother has a NOS one that if enough were interested in could be used to reproduce. Let me know how many would be interested and I can look into it and let you know.

Re: DECAL - Main Aux Fuel Tank

I'm sure I'm not the only one looking for one - anyone who paints their dash and who has this switch on it, will need one. They are almost impossible to get off in one piece and in good condition. Check into how much it would cost to make some. Thanks !!!

Paul I am very happy with the fender. It arrived in great shape. Thank you very much. I will get the sticker and have a guy local take a look at it. It should be a simple deal. I will let you know. H

Re: DECAL - Main Aux Fuel Tank

Below, is a picture of the sticker that goes above the left A/C vent "ball" above the switch. A member of this website is NOW looking into having these stickers made - if it all works out - who still wants one ?

Re: DECAL - Main Aux Fuel Tank

Just FYI,this sticker is for the switch that controls the gauge. The valve to switch the tanks is in the floor between the seat and door. It has a plastic molded plaque that labels which tank the lever is on.
I'll look into getting some made. I backed off when I saw someone else had a N.O.S.,which would be the best to copy. But,I'll get on this as soon as I get a chance to stock down to the sign shop.

The N.O.S. one turned out to be the one pictured below - one made for a truck with THREE tanks - not the one pictured above.

Re: DECAL - Main Aux Fuel Tank

Reproducing these would be cool and also it would be nice to be able to get those 2 position rotary switches that go bad that switch the tank senders. Mine is bad, been looking for a working one.
