Pics of 60-66 trucks w/ whitewalls..
Thinking bout puting white walls on my 63 c10 jus wanted to see some different tire and rim combos using whitewalls to get some ideas.

Here's an earlier thread on the same topic with a bunch of photos to look through:

Re: Pics of 60-66 trucks w/ whitewalls..
tires that the PO had on the truck when I bought it (1st pic) - 255/70/15 with ww. Wheels are stock 6 lug rallys painted white and some spinner thingy on it.
Currently running steelies with blackwall and poverty caps (2nd pic) as I'm not exactly a ww guy personally. I like them, just not as much as blackwalls I guess! Last edited by jocko; 01-27-2011 at 11:57 PM. |

Re: Pics of 60-66 trucks w/ whitewalls..
thanks twofifty! I fell in love with the truck when I found it - the PO was a GREAT guy and really took care of this truck, so I was very pleased with it. Wheels/tires weren't exactly my taste, and he threw in the original 6-lug steelies with the purchase price (and he did have other 60-66's that he could have kept them for) - so I was very fortunate and he was a very great guy. One of those rare car-buying experiences that was pleasureable (except when I lost the keys halfway home to MD from NY...)
Funny story - I kinda knew this was the truck I was looking for when he walked out from his garage and we were both wearing the exact same Honest Charley Speed Shop t-shirt... Karma I suppose. Bumped into him again at Carlisle, was great to see him. Anyhoo - thanks again, wheels/tires are one of those things that can really change the look of a truck. I thought it would be easy to do what I wanted to do, but i did have a hard time finding the plain jane blackwalls in 235/75/15. Finally found em at tires plus. |
