Re: Ignition switch bezel removal
You have to remove the lock cyl. first. Turn switch to acc. position and insert wire into hole on face of lock and push in. You will feel a spring loaded pin as you push. Then turn cyl to the left and pull. You might have to wiggle it a bit , but it should pull out.

Re: Ignition switch bezel removal
Try this:
Put the key in the switch. Find a paper clip. Find a small pin-hole on the bezel. Turn the key counter-clockwise to ACC, Put the paper clip in the small pin-hole and press in. Turn the key counter clockwise one more time. It should come apart. Edit - John beat me to it... Last edited by FLcustom10; 01-27-2011 at 05:31 PM. |

What if you don't have a key? I've heard that there is a key code on the pass door lock cylinder for a locksmith to make one...does anyone know if that's true?

Re: Ignition switch bezel removal
Fldawg, the above is correct, but disconnect your battery before you do this. It may not be necessary, but just to be safe..............
