#8 done!!!
Well 7 hrs turned into seven days Had to get a new pitman arm and inner and outer tie rods to make the alignment guy happy. Got to drive her for 15 min today before the new alt blew getting real tired of Chinese parts. But she ran great until she stopped layed rubber all the way thru to 3rd gear without powerbreaking She will be back out in the morn I did take some crappy cell phone pics for eveyone I thought I was going to be able to post some good ones from the wifes camera. I will add some of those on Fri.
This one started out as a 71 GMC LWB and a 67 Chevy SWB [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] I then merged them both together. We kept the bed and frame off of the Chevy and the rest came from the GMC. Went from a 292 4 speed w/granny to a 350hp 400 torque 350 with vortec heads and a th350 with a stage one shift kit and 2200 stall. Then added vintage air and some other interesting bits. I have rambled too long see pics below. |
