Six Cylinder Power Steering Coming Soon!

I am cleaning up and painting a 250 "mule" motor just for assembling "correct" fitting six cyl power steering. I haven't done this in years, but there is really some wrong stuff out there for sale. There are just a mess of different combinations and they don't work well when mixed up.
I will put all the matching parts together, ON THE ENGINE, so you can see it will be right. Everything will be cleaned, blasted and painted with new hoses.
I should be able to do several systems, because I have collected a lot of six PS parts. They won't be dirt cheap, but reasonable. I do plan to get paid for the parts & prep work.
Watch the board for offerings in the next couple weeks.
I am not going to take early requests to hold and pass on these, but I did want to give an early warning, so you can look for them if you are interested.
Thanks, Frank

Should be a big hit! I agree on mismatched and cobbled setups being a nightmare. Sharpie

I'm watching.
I have what I think is a complete 250 P/S set-up and this thread will allow me to veriify that.
Any chance you have any 292 P/S set-ups?

Re: Six Cylinder Power Steering Coming Soon!

MTMAN-
That is a sweet setup with the original small pump, double pulleys, etc.
I should be able to build one or two of those and I can usually also put together some systems with the later pump and brackets that all line up with our stock crank, wp, alt, etc. The trick is just finding the different brackets with right offsets so everyuthing lines up.

Re: Six Cylinder Power Steering Coming Soon!

This is a great idea! It took me a year to collect all the correct parts for the PS setup for my 292. I was lucky enough to have a factory 292 PS setup to reference on another truck while I searched out parts.

Will you be posting the parts for sale in this thread?
