Jegs or Summit?

Getting ready to order my new Autometer guages. I usually use Summit but have used Jegs too. What do you all think?

Summit cuz the parts will get to my house within 2days. Unless they dont have it in the reno wharehouse. If they dont carry it or are out of stock then I'll order it from jegs. I prefer Summit tho.

Ive ordered from both and dont have complaints either way but I like Summit a little better. If you are looking for engine kits another company makes the cheapest rebuild kits and that is Northern auto parts They are in iowa so if your in the midwest you will get your stuff fast. They arent as big and dont have as much selection as jegs or summit but they are competetive with most of their prices and I have been satisfied with their service. you can get to their website at www.northernautoparts.com

I like Jegs, but it really depends on who is closer to you as Summit's and Jeg's prices and shipping rates are almost identical.

I tend to use Jeg's more often ( 80% of the time) because I like their catalog layout more than Summit's. Aside from that, they're both about the same..

I like Summit, the Reno warehouse means 1-2 days with free ground shipping. Waiting sucks

I like both and have ordered many $$'s worth of stuff from both companies. I prefer Summit, since packages always arrive within three days whereas Jegs packages don't arrive for atleast five to seven days.

Summit because you only pay the one handling fee and shipping is free no matter how much you spend, even if it is shipped in multiple boxes. Jegs on the other hand charges you by how much you spend not by weight of the box(s).

I have used both, & dont have complaints either way. Just look at the prices , & go from there. If i am in a "bind" for parts, I will say Jegs delivers them faster than Summit......Im in Illinois. Good luck, crazyL

Never mind I switch my vote to Summit... I just got a package from Jegs today, and they gave me the wrong exhaust tips..this is the second company I tried to get exhaust tips from and the second one to give me the wrong ones. I hate it when stuff like this happens. Actually I think they gave me the ones that matched the number, but did not match the description in both their catalog and website.

Summit prices seem to be a little cheaper and there shipping seems to be of a better quality.

I use jegs but the next time I need something I just might have to order from Summit.. I have never had a problem with Jegs, just the fact it takes 6 days to get stuff from them.. But I have never paid for shipping from them, just paid $ 8.00 for handling and get free ground...
