Re: best FREE part you've been given-67-72only
I gave away a 1970 short/fleet C10 that I bought for the trans, a friend helped me pull the trans and put it in my 69 so I gave him the truck. I kinda wish I would have just bought him a 12 pack instead.

So far a got a set of 5 lug rallys, brake booster and master, rear end(5lug) and theres still parts out there that im going back for like the hood and a gmc grill and maybe the front fenders but ill wait until summer comes around

i've been dealing in 67-72s since the early 80s and made lots of friends over the years through these trucks. us 67-72 owners are a great bunch and always help each other out.

How old is your son? I have nephews around that age and my girlfriend has a little nephew that loves my truck, we sat in there forever while he played with every single button and asked me what each one does, i wanted to take him for a ride but there was no way in hell mama woulda allowed that

Re: best FREE part you've been given-67-72only
One of my grandson's gave me a front clip for a GMC, at least he thought it was. After I took it apart I found out I had one '69-72 fender, one GMC fender, a GMC radiator support and a Chevy hood. I never told him, I figured it was the thought that counted.
A guy I know gave me a '68 Chevy hood. But the best thing I have been given for these old trucks is a bunch of useful information from this forum. I spend a lot of time on here, it is more fun than watching TV, lol.
