Talking Yeah...its gonna be LOUD...

So... I gathered up all my exhaust parts, laid them out next to Screamin' to get some perspective.

The system will consist of Chevelle mid length headers 3" collectors dumping into 2.5 inch aluminized tube, then through a flex coupler into a 3" Y. From there through the 3" FloJo muffler and exiting just in front of the rear passenger wheel.

I originally planned on this running out the drivers side, but I think I've decided the passenger side would be best for sanity sake.

Whatcha guys think, any suggestions before I start cuttin' and welding?

Re: Yeah...its gonna be LOUD...

looks like it will be a cool system, can't wait to hear it! Did you ever get the valve seal problem fixed?

Re: Yeah...its gonna be LOUD...

Looks good, but can I ask why not keep it a dual? Either way its gonna be hella loud and I too want some sound clips.

i agree i would run it out the passenger side but with it laid out ike you have it will you be able to run it down the passenger side instead of the drivers side ? (flip the Y section ??)

Re: Yeah...its gonna be LOUD...

QKENUF4U - yeah I'll just flip the Y, its a pretty simple setup.

Jacfourteen - yup, the parts I installed did the trick, I'm still blowin a little smoke, but I'm convinced that its the rings goin' south. The Vortecs increased the compression quite a bit.

Gonzo6868 - Just for the hell of it. She is currently running a 2.25 single exhaust with a bomb. The 3" pipe has close to the same cross-sectional area as a dual 2.25 system.
