Original Shoulder Belts Male ends with boots

I had picked these to build a second set of shoulder belts, but decided to sell them to fund other purchases. These are the male end with correct 67-71 style boots (vertical retaining dimple). They are not perfect, but are still pretty good. These used to be blue but have been colored black. They were also rewebbeb with black webbing, but it is the incorrect webbing. I was going to reweb them. As far as the female ends go, the standard female ends from regular lap belts are the same length. There is zero rust on the chrome. This is the perfect set to buy for those wanting to add shoulder belts. $100 shipped for the pair.

Great price on hard to find pieces! You wouldn't happen to have a shot of the attachment point under the covers for reference would you? Thanks, Sharpie

Sharpie,
Here's a picture. You know, the middle male belt from a car from the same era has a similar end. It has a couple of slight bends to it that can be straightend and would work just as well.

Here is a pic showing the order in which everything attaches. The rubber tab on the inside of the boot keeps the bolt/mounting tab from scratching the pillar.

I believe the bolt is a different size...I do not recall off the top of my head what it is though

The bolt from a 67 floor seat belt will work. The length may be a tad different , but the threads are the same.

Dave, your belts shipped today via Priority Mail. So, how many sets of shoulder belts does this make for you? Enjoy!

Hey Richard, after seeing/finding out who won the NOS 3/4 ton blue bowtie cap set, I now realize who beat me out by one bid on the NOS black shoulder harness a few weeks ago. Great purchase there buddy, I have a single black NOS shoulder harness in the same GM accessory box with matching part number and date code tag that is now still looking for it's mate. Mel

Since this thread is finished... Regarding the above quote , would you want another matching NOS in the box stainless 3/4 ton blue bowtie cap to have as a spare? I would trade ya the nos cap straight across for that NOS black shoulder belt Pn. 994173, you know the one . Mel

Re: Original Shoulder Belts Male ends with boots

Sorry, Mel. It took me a good year or so to even see a black NOS shoulder surface since I got my first one from Harry Huda. While I'd love to have a spare cap, I'd rather part with my ___insert noun here___ before that belt. If it's any consolation, I can't think of any other NOS part that I will need for my build, so you wont have to worry about any atomic last minute bids on your future bids from me.

Richard, if for any reason you should change your mind, in the below linked thread-post #18 there is a picture of your spare NOS 3/4 ton cap. Mel
