How or can you remove annodizing from aluminum?

I got this nice little blower fuel line setup that I'm going to run this spring. When I first got it I thought all the fittings were silver. When I got it home and turned it over, I found the usual Russell AN red and blue colors. Really weird. I love the aluminum look and was wondering if there is any known way of removing the annodizing used so they are a bare aluminum color. Thanks!

Sweet! I'll look into those links in a bit. Seems like with over cleaner that time left on is super critical. That stuff will flat EAT aluminum and pot metal.

Zep makes a product "Zep-A-Lume" product #1063. it is a super aluminum cleaner & brightener. It is highly concentrated. Works great.

Eastwood and POR both make kits to strip anodizing.
