Need help with what my 59 is worth
I need some help with what everyone things i can get out of this project. I just have no time to work on it and ready to make room in the garage.
1959 Chevy Apache 3100, truck was running prior to disassembling to install the subframe, will need wood for bed floor but other than that all parts are there. The front core support, radiator support, inner fenders, have been sandblasted. The truck does have some rust/rot in the front passenger side body mount and both cab corner could use to be fixed. - 235 6cyl - 3 speed column shift transmission - header with dual exhaust (cherry bombs) - new Rochester carb - new gas tank - all new weather stripping in the box - new Chrome Grille - new chrome head light bezels - new chrome front bumper w/ bolts - new chrome dash bezel w/ billet insert and dolphin gauges (all band new in box) - new chrome door handles ( interior and exterior) - new chrome window cranks - new chrome wiper arms - new wheel tubs - new stainless steel battery tray - new 21 circuit ez-wiring harness - 70's camaro subframe I also have a 70's chevy 350 and manual transmission to go with it, as well as lots of other misc lil chrome or polished parts. |

I'd list it on Craig's List for 5K & see what happens ... you can always come down. It has a little rust issue but parts are availible to repair.
Good luck. Ratty 46 |

Ummm... expect this post to get nixed shortly... WIW posts are only allowed by supporting members...
And IMO... Ratty is about right... but it will depend on the market, what's in your area and what others are willing to pay. Cheers, Ted.

i agree with ratty 46.
a running driving truck will typically fetch more though. if you have the time i would get it together and running. non running projects typically scare off all but the savvy builders, who will want a steal. imho. |
