How far out were the headers? What did they get in the way with? I have 2wd BBC but I expect I would still need to make a notch if they managed to clear the motor mounts.

Frame they were ok. They wouldn't clear the 4wd engine crossmember or the front leaf spring shackle on the passenger side.

My truck isn't the best example for you. The K5 engine sits deeper in the firewall than a truck does. Do a search for 2455 and you'll get some better info from others who are running them.

ajs72k5 im interested in your column . Still kinda new here sorry how do you handle the paying ? And your front tow hooks , if i was to buy the column is there any way you would trace one of them out on a piece of cardboard and send with it ? pm me if you like
