Who are the earliest 67-72 board members?

I was lamenting how long it's taking me to get my ride on the road and I remembered joining this board when I bought my 71 GMC. If I recall it went down soon after, for what seemed an eternity...I had so many questions!
I started feeling like an old timer here, then I saw Wes has been here since Dec 1999...what a geezer!
Who is the real old man? I know it's relative since Josh was just a little tosser when I first joined.

I think "Fine69" is in the top 10 earliest members.

Hold your cursor over your name and it will say '67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/member.php?u=82129' at the bottom of the screen. The last 5 digits are your number. You are 82129.

Re: Who arethe earliest 67-72 board members?

Scrolling through the members list was a blast from the past, user names I'd forgotten about, some long gone some still here, like Shadetree, haven't heard that name in ages but he's still posting.
I see circuswagonjim still has an original join date on the list. I question the first members join date of 1970 or something, must have been a fairly inactive board for near thirty years lol.
BTW when I scroll over names I get nothing...probably my stupid mac.

Re: Who arethe earliest 67-72 board members?

Member numbers on the member list are deceiving. There have been test accounts etc from when the site was on previous software. The first one to have responded to the original guest book (pre forums) as far as we can date back, is Mike aka. Fine69.

For a list of the still active founding members go to http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showgroups.php and scroll down to founding members.. Another one that has become active again is CircusWagonJim.. he had joined before the days of this software circa 99 or so

Lets see if I can decipher my number?

2= I have owned 2 Chevy trucks

1= I now own 1 Chevy truck

4- I have four family members

0- my truck is a 1970

Ok...now I know.

Re: Who arethe earliest 67-72 board members?

Lol. If you click on this link and look at the first name, "DoNotPMMe" the join date is 12-31-1969. Bout the only people using the internet back then were the government. Even then it was still kinda experimental and for a select group of people to use. That was back when you needed one and a half floors for one computer. The computer took up one whole floor and all the cables ran under the floor beneath it. And now we have internet on our cell phones. Haha.

I'll probably get in trouble for this, but I originally joined in 2001 as Chevy70. I lost my password and my email so I couldn't log in.
