Re: Whats as guy gotta do to get a single barrel in this town
hmm... 78 will be 1bbl with electric choke, right? There's one on evilflay. 73 up will work if you convert to hand choke, got to have cable throttle. If you go 2bbl you'll need the same vintage. Since you're not integral head you could also go for intake and 4bbl.
Unfortunately one of mine's on the 250 and the other's spread all over my bench waiting for that +30F day for reassembly.

Re: Whats a guy gotta do to get a single barrel in this town
thanks guy but being im in canada i would be paying out my ass to get them here.. i ended up finding one from nappa autoparts but $250 rediculous but i needed it bad considering my trucks my daily driver and its a little to cold to ride my triple!! theres a guy about 45 minutes from me selling a tri carb setup for a 292 for $350 and opinions? there in great shape all polished and wrapped in plastic there on an vintage offy manifold. i would have went with them right away but im pinching pennys as i need a downpayment and i needed the truck quick dont have time to work out the bugs with a new setup

Nice piece, nice price, absolutely un-driveable cold. Will have major fuel distribution and puddling issues.
What exactly broke on yours? Picture? Someone may have the needed parts. E-flay carbs, shipping to Canada runs about $30. At least that's what it cost me to USPS flat-rate a Stromberg.
