2 pc drive shaft in a shortbed?

I have a 6 cyl/3 speed long bed. Im shortening the frame for a shortbed & took the 2 pc driveshaft to be shortened 12" in the front shaft. The shop was a little concerned at how short the front shaft will be after the 12" is taken out...
Any one have pics of a stock 2 pc shaft for a shortbed & maybe some dimensions.

Yes, factory short bed 6 cylinder 3 speed trucks had 1 piece driveshafts.

By the way, I think I have used your products (fenders) on some choppers I built a few years ago.

Not sure about the trailing arm but I went one piece in my short bed. got a custom one built to length and balanced for like two hundred and had it in my hands a few days later. let me know if you want the shops number.

Re: 2 pc drive shaft in a shortbed?

I have 3 short bed trucks only one has a factory 2 pc shaft they both work fine to me it doesn't matter as long as the bed is short.
