late 70s cross member question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I've seen enough on here to know that I'm using a donor truck for my 70 truck. If I add the later crossmember will that drop it any. I want to lower it but was just wondering if that does it any before i buy parts . Thanks

I dont think so, im sure somebody will chime in and corect me if im wrong but i cant see them lowering it unless the suspension was wore out.

You won't realize any drop by just changing the suspension and crossmember.
